A few Club business topics before we get to the fun stuff:

Green Bay Running Club Meeting

The next Green Bay Running Club meeting will be either Wednesday May 13th, or Thursday May 14th at 7:00 pm at Knights on Main in De Pere. As soon as the date is firmed up another email will be sent to this distribution list. We do plan to have a guest speaker at the meeting.

Cellcom Green Bay Marathon

There is less than two weeks before the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon. For those of you who are running and have been participating in the Prevea Saturday Training runs since January we have come a long way. Snow, ice, sub-zero temperatures, wind, rain, venue changes and maybe an injury or two did not deter most runners and only added to the sense of accomplishment. Now we are in the taper mode, when we scale back on miles, but increase the mental preparation. Good luck, Runners!

Roll Call

Are you running in the 2009 Cellcom Green Bay Marathon? Please let us know if you are running and which race you will be participating in (5k, half or full). Send an email to the webmaster address (click here) and we will put the list on the web site. Please include your bib # as well.

Expo Booth

We received the information for the Prevea Health and Fitness Expo at the Cellcom weekend of events. The hours are from 4-7 pm on Friday the 15th and from 10am - 6pm on Saturday the 16th. Please send an email to the webmaster address (click here) if you can help out for 2 or more hours during these times.

Other Races

Are you participating in any other races out of town? Let us know. We are sure other members would be interested in knowing what races members are participating in and would like to follow your results. Send an email to the webmaster's email address and it will be posted on the web site.

Saturday Morning Runs

The last Prevea training run is this Saturday, May 9th. The fun doesn't end there or with the Cellcom. The Green Bay Running Club Saturday morning runs will resume on May 23rd. The runs will begin at Voyager Park in De Pere at 7:00 am.
